Troy Patton was released by the Miami Marlins on Sunday, The Associated Press reports.The former Oriole and Marlin served an 80-game suspension last season after a third positive test for amphetamines. He has not pitched in the major leagues since 2014, when he struggled his way to a 5.14 ERA across 17 total appearances with the Orioles and padres.
