RP Jo-Jo Reyes will become free agent
Former Los Angeles Angels reliever Jo-Jo Reyes will elect to become a free agent.Reyes threw just one pitch this season and picked up a win in the process before new general manager Billy Eppler opted to designate Reyes for assignment last week. The 30 year old could catch on as organizational depth in the bullpen, but his Fantasy value at this point is virtually nil.

Angels' Jo-Jo Reyes: Designated for assignment
Jo-Jo Reyes was designated for assignment by the Los Angeles Angels on Friday. In the first moves of the Billy Eppler era, the Angels claimed outfielder Todd Cunningham off waivers from Atlanta and bumped Reyes from the 40-man roster. Reyes was a late-September callup to the big club, returning to the majors for the first time since 2011, despite posting a 4.76 ERA and 1.56 WHIP in 15 appearances (11 starts) with Triple-A Salt Lake.

Angels recall pitcher Jo-Jo Reyes; DFA Grant Green
Pitcher Jo-Jo Reyes was called up by the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday. The 30-year-old lefty will return to the majors for the first time since 2011, providing the Angels with some added bullpen depth for the final five games of the regular season.Reyes will also be available for the postseason roster, but it's hard to imagine he will have a spot, especially considering his .362 BAA and 1.89 WHIP allowed to left-handed hitters at Triple-A Salt Lake. Grant Green was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. His defensive versatility was not enough to compensate for the lack of offensive production at the major league level. In 21 games with the big club this season, Green went just 8 for 42 (.190 average) with one extra-base hit and 14 strikeouts, lowering his line at the highest level to .249/.283/.335. The 28-year-old did hit .306/.337/.449 at Triple-A Salt Lake this season, so it's at least possible he could draw interest from another club.
