Dodgers' Brandon Hicks: Reassigned to minor league camp
The Los Angeles Dodgers reassigned Brandon Hicks to minor league camp Monday.Hicks spent the past two seasons in the Giants' system, including 71 games with the big club in 2014. After inking a minor league contract with the division rival Dodgers in early February, he cobbled together a measly .200/.320/.200 line with three RBI, one run, and one stolen base in 20 Cactus League at-bats. The 30-year-old middle infielder will act as organizational depth to start the campaign.

Dodgers' Brandon Hicks: Joins Dodgers on minor league deal
Brandon Hicks signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers last week, Baseball America reports.A .162/.280/.319 first half to 2014 led to Hicks' removal from the Giants' 40-man roster, and he failed to work his way back up in 2015. Now 30, Hicks can't really play shortstop anymore, but he will provide the Triple-A club with a depth option at second base and third in 2016.
