Pedro Ciriaco was traded to Miami on Friday in exchange for Erik Jokisch, John Blake of TexasRangers.com reports.Ciriaco has spent all of the 2016 season with Triple-A Round Rock where he's compiled a .268/.297/.320 slash line over 51 games. The 30-year-old will likely head to Triple-A New Orleans now where he'll resume his season in new scenery.

Atlanta Braves infielder Pedro Ciriaco came through with the game's only run in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Mets. Ciriaco came off the bench in the seventh inning with a runner on second. The light-hitting Ciriaco blooped a single into center field, allowing the only run to cross the plate. Despite getting limited playing time, Ciriaco has been invaluable for the Braves this year.
