Padres' Carlos Fisher: Signs minor league deal with Padres

Carlos Fisher signed a minor league deal with the San Diego Padres in late November, Baseball America reports.Fisher spent 2016 with Triple-A Round Rock in the Rangers' system, where he finished with a 4.40 ERA in 47 innings pitched over 42 games. He's spent the last three seasons in Triple-A, and hasn't been to the major leagues since 2011. At 33, he'll be looking to get one last crack at the big leagues in 2017.
