Matt Reynolds re-signed Sunday with the San Francisco Giants on a minor-league contract, Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports.The Giants had designated Reynolds for assignment near the end of last season, but he'll stick with the organization and get an opportunity to compete for an Opening Day roster spot, as his minor-league deal will include an invitation to spring training. The 32-year-old lefty made only eight appearances for the big club last season, put tossed 18.2 scoreless innings across stints at Double-A and Triple-A.
