    Nate Adcock (elbow) received an invitation to attend Baltimore Orioles spring training, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.Adcock has yet to pitch since undergoing Tommy John surgery in August of 2015. Over 56 career games (123 innings) in the majors, Adcock has built a 4.17 ERA and 1.48 WHIP. Although he'll have the chance to train with the big club for spring training, he'll likely have to spend time at Triple-A Norfolk before returning to the show.

    Orioles' Nate Adcock: Agrees to minor league contract with Orioles on Monday

    Nate Adcock (elbow) agreed to a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles on Monday, Baseball America reportsAdcock split time between Triple-A and the majors in the Reds organization. He pitched well in the minors, posting a solid 2.96 ERA with Triple-A Louisville, but was hit hard in the majors, as evidenced by his 6.00 ERA with the Reds. The 28-year-old is coming off Tommy John surgery in August, so he won't be available to pitch for most (if not all) of the 2016 season.

    Reds recall Holmberg, Sampson; option Skipworth; Adcock to DL

    The Cincinnati Reds optioned catcher Kyle Skipworth to Double-A Pensacola on Thursday to clear a roster spot for starting pitcher David Holmberg, who is joining the rotation in the wake of the Johnny Cueto trade. They also recalled reliever Keyvius Sampson from Triple-A Louisville to take the roster spot of reliever Nate Adcock, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

    Reds promote Nate Adcock, option Jumbo Diaz to Triple-A

    The Cincinnati Reds have promoted pitcher Nate Adcock from Triple-A Louisville and optioned pitcher Jumbo Diaz to the same club. Adcock owns a 2.96 ERA and 20:7 K:BB ratio in 24 1/3 innings with Lousville. His addition to the active roster will mean that a 40-man roster spot will be cleared prior to gametime. Diaz was 2-1 with a 6.65 ERA and 25:5 K:BB ratio in 23 innings. He had allowed a pair of earned runs in two of his last three appearances.
