Brewers' Matt Lipka: Traded to Brewers
Matt Lipka was traded from the Diamondbacks to the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday in exchange for cash considerations.Lipka signed a minor-league deal with the Diamondbacks during the offseason, and he slashed .333/.393/.505 with two home runs, two triples, eight doubles, 23 runs and 22 RBI in 29 games with Triple-A Reno to begin the year. The 29-year-old will now report to Triple-A Nashville going forward.

Matt Lipka signed a minor-league contract with the New York Yankees.Lipka spent the 2018 season at Double-A Richmond after signing a minor-league deal with the Giants, and has bounced around Double-A and Triple-A over the last few years. The 26-year-old had a .240/.329/.352 slash line with four home runs in 123 games and should provide organizational outfield depth as he looks to make his MLB debut.

Lipka, Matthew signed a minor-league contract with the San Francisco Giants on Monday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.The 25-year-old is still looking for his first major-league appearance after being taken in the supplemental first round by the Braves back in 2010. He'll likely just serve as organizational depth in 2018 for the Giants, that is if he's even asked to stick around once spring training breaks.
