C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Angels' C.J. Cron blasts another home run in win over Mariners
Angels first baseman C.J. Cron went 1 or 3 with a solo home run in a 3-2 win over the Mariners on Saturday.
Cron continues his recent power-surge, as he has two homers and five RBI over his last three games. The young righty has put together a pretty nice season, as he has 16 homers and 49 RBI in just 347 at-bats. If he plays a full 162 games develops as an everyday player next year, Cron would be a good candidate for 25-plus home runs and an average in the .275 range. Those numbers alone would make him must own in almost every format.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Rays SS Asdrubal Cabrera hits 13th home run of season
Rays shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera went 3 for 5 with his 13th homer and two runs scored against the Red Sox on Wednesday.
That white-hot streak Cabrera experienced after coming off the DL unsurprisingly passed into memory quite some time ago; thus, this was both his first multi-hit effort and his first homer since Sept. 11 -- also against the Red Sox. Cabrera hasn't been a huge fantasy asset outside AL-only formats, but this has nonetheless been his best season since 2012.

Kole Calhoun 1B | CLE
Angels OF Kole Calhoun slams 24th home run of the year
Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun hit his 24th home run Wednesday, going 2 for 5 with two RBI in a 6-5 win over the Astros.
Calhoun's performance Wednesday put an end to a two week slump, as the 27-year-old entered the game on a 5 for 45 skid. It's been an up and down year for Calhoun, who has posted a career-high home run total but seen his strikeout and walk rates regress.

C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Angels' C.J. Cron held out of Game 2 lineup vs. Twins
Angels designated hitter C.J. Cron is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Twins, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
Besides Cron, catcher Carlos Perez is the only other Angels regular out of the lineup for Saturday's nightcap. Cron went 0-for-6 with an RBI and two strikeouts in Game 1.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Rays SS Asdrubal Cabrera returns to lineup Saturday
Rays shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera (knee) is back in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
This is a bit earlier than expected, considering Cabrera is only starting baseball activities now after leaving a game last Tuesday due to his knee strain. Assuming he's 100 percent Cabrera figures to retake his everyday shortstop role.

Chris Carter 1B | LAA
Astros DH Chris Carter hits solo home run in loss to Athletics
Astros designated hitter Chris Carter went 1 for 3 with a solo home run in a 4-3 loss to Oakland on Friday.
It's been a rough year for Carter, as he's hitting just .186. The power is not dreadful though, as he has 19 home runs and 55 RBI to go along with a .299 OBP. Carter has lost almost all of his mixed-league relevancy and his value is limited to AL-only formats at this juncture. With only 15 appearances recording at least two at-bats over the last two months, he's even losing value in the most shallow of formats.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Indians 1B Carlos Santana hits grand slam in win
Indians first baseman Carlos Santana went 1 for 4 with a grand slam home run in the Indians' win over the White Sox on Friday night.
If you're only going to collect one hit, popping one over the fence with the bases loaded against a pitcher like Chris Sale is making the most of it. Santana now has 16 long ones and 72 RBI, but hasn't done much in the average department at .237 for the year. Most damaging from a fantasy perspective is the fact that he will lose catcher and third base eligibility next season.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Rays' Asdrubal Cabrera to resume baseball activities this weekend
Rays infielder Asdrubal Cabrera (knee) plans to resume baseball activities Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Cabrera's knee showed no structural damage in an MRI, so he should be fairly close to coming back. It might be a matter of comfort for the 29-year-old, so Saturday's activities could help determine his return date.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Indians' Carlos Santana records three hits in losing effort Thursday
Indians first baseman Carlos Santana went 3 for 5 with a double and a run scored in an 8-4 loss to the Royals on Thursday.
It's been a strange season for Santana as most numbers are on par with where they should be aside from the average. The power is a bit down, but his 11 steals should make up for that. The .237 average is lacking, but his .363 OBP is very good, as he ranks top-five in walks. Unfortunately, Santana is going to lose catcher and third base eligibility next season and that will drop his value significantly.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
MRI kind to Rays SS Asdrubal Cabrera, who could return soon
Rays veteran shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera (knee) hopes to be back in action in the next few days after an MRI showed no damage beyond a strain, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
More damage would have likely meant the end of the season for the 29 year old, but he should be able to come back for the last couple weeks. Nick Franklin and Tim Beckham will get the starts at shortstop until he returns.
