Eric Gagne has signed a contract with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.Gagne had been contemplating a comeback after pitching for Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic, though the MLB appears to be a bit of a long shot for the 41-year-old. He'll get a chance to show his stuff on a smaller circuit in what will be his first professional action since 2008.
