Lopez off to Japan

Jose Lopez, an All-Star in 2006, is headed to Japan, having signed a contract with the Yomiuri Giants of the Central League, according to Nikkan Sports. Lopez hit .246 in 2012, split between the Indians and the White Sox. He has a career .262 average and has hit as many as 25 home runs in a season (in 2009).
