The San Francisco Giants optioned Luis Matos to Triple-A Sacramento on Friday.Matos has gone 2-for-10 with a home run and two runs scored across four games since rejoining the Giants on Sept. 3. Rather than keeping six outfielders on their big-league roster, San Francisco will now send him back to Triple-A in favor of infielder Donovan Walton, who was recalled from Sacramento in a corresponding move.
