Marlins' David Hensley: Dispatched to Jacksonville
The Miami Marlins optioned David Hensley to Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.Since arriving from Triple-A in late July, Hensley has turned in a .212/.293/.288 slash line with one homer and four RBI across 58 plate appearances. He'll now be sent back to the minors as Derek Hill (shoulder) returns from the injured list, and it's unlikely Hensley makes another appearance for the Marlins over the final 10 games of the season.
