Eric Wagaman went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI in Friday's 9-7 loss to the Astros.The 27-year-old is having a nice finish to the season in his first look at big-league pitching. Over the last seven games, Wagaman's batting .355 (11-for-31) with four doubles, two homers, five runs and seven RBI, and he's at least put himself in position to compete for a regular spot on the 26-man roster next spring.

Eric Wagaman went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI in Tuesday's win over the White Sox.Wagaman homered for the second straight night and now has five extra-base hits in seven games since being called up from Triple-A Salt Lake. The 27-year-old has started six straight games and has upped his batting average to .292 with at least a hit in four consecutive games.

Eric Wagaman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 8-4 loss to the White Sox.Wagaman has picked up steady playing time since joining the Los Angeles Angels on Sept. 10. He's started five straight games at third base in the absence of Brandon Drury (hamstring), including four times versus right-handed pitchers. Wagaman has hit .200 (4-for-20), though all four of his hits have gone for extra bases (one homer, three doubles).
