The Detroit Tigers announced that Brendan White (elbow) underwent a hydro-dissection procedure Tuesday to address radial nerve-related symptoms, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.White had been contending with elbow problems dating back to spring training and hasn't pitched in a game since June 18, when he made a rehab appearance in the rookie-level Florida Complex League. Though the Tigers recalled him from the minors Aug. 13 and placed him on the 60-day injured list with what the club labeled as a right elbow strain, White didn't require surgery and instead had a non-invasive procedure to address the matter. White is presumably shut down for the season, but he could be fully cleared for the start of spring training.
