Giants' Bryce Eldridge: Promoted to Triple-A
The San Francisco Giants promoted Bryce Eldridge from Double-A Richmond to Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports. After playing just nine games with Richmond, during which he went 10-for-37 with a homer and four RBI, Eldridge will now reach the Triple-A level after beginning the season at Single-A. The 19-year-old first baseman has slashed .293/.376/.534 with 23 home runs and 90 RBI across three minor-league levels. Depending on how well he does with Sacramento to close out the season, he could begin the 2025 campaign with the River Cats, and there's a solid chance he claims the big-league first base job at some point next year.

Giants' Bryce Eldridge: As advertised at Single-A
Bryce Eldridge is slashing .271/.330/.492 with nine home runs and a 26.4 percent strikeout rate in 44 games for Single-A San Jose. There are always going to be some strikeouts with the 6-foot-7 slugger, but Eldridge hits the ball as hard as anyone at Single-A (36.5 Hard%) and has gotten the ball in the air a good amount (39.2 percent groundball rate), which is a great combination. The 19-year-old scrapped pitching before the season to focus solely on developing as a first baseman and figures to get promoted to High-A sometime this summer.
