Nationals' Tyler Stuart: Out with elbow injury
Tyler Stuart is on Triple-A Rochester's 7-day injured list due to an elbow injury, Sam Dykstra of MLB Pipeline reports. The organization is hopeful it isn't a serious injury, but Stuart should still be considered out indefinitely. Acquired from the Mets in last year's Jesse Winker trade, Stuart is a 6-foot-9 righty whose extension makes up for low-90s fastball velocity. His best pitch is his sweeper, but none of his offerings are near plus. Stuart had success last year at Double-A, but he gave up 14 runs in 16.2 innings over four starts at Triple-A.

Nationals' Tyler Stuart: Moves up to Triple-A
The Washington Nationals promoted Tyler Stuart from Double-A Harrisburg to Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday.Stuart will join the Triple-A rotation as a replacement for Brad Lord (hand), who was placed on the 7-day injured list in a corresponding move. The 24-year-old right-hander earned the bump to Rochester based on merit, as he had logged a 2.08 ERA and 1.08 WHIP across 21.2 innings over his four starts with Harrisburg since joining the Washington organization after being acquired from the Mets at the trade deadline.

Nationals' Tyler Stuart: Shipped to Washington
The Washington Nationals acquired Tyler Stuart from the Mets on Sunday in exchange for outfielder Jesse Winker.Stuart is in his first full season at the Double-A level and has a 3.96 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 90:20 K:BB across 84 innings. The 6-foot-9 righty could see Triple-A action by the end of the campaign and may not be far off from his MLB debut, and he should have a clearer path to pitching meaningful innings for Washington than he did with New York.
