Blue Jays sign DH Luke Scott to minor-league deal
The Toronto Blue Jays have signed designated hitter Luke Scott to a minor-league deal on Thursday, according to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman. Scott has a .258/.340/.481 slash line in nine seasons in the majors. He will join Triple-A Buffalo, and will make approximately $550,000 if he reaches the majors -- something he hasn't done since 2013.
