Jamey Wright announced his retirement Monday afternoon, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.The 41-year-old will officially end his comeback bid after signing on with the Los Angeles Dodgers in February. Wright never appeared to stand much of a chance to make the major league roster, let alone be an impact player for a Dodgers team with several younger bullpen options. Wright will conclude his 19-year career with 97 wins and a cumulative 4.81 ERA across 2,036.2 major league innings.
