Harrison could be recalled from Triple-A Worcester to start Monday's series opener against the Orioles, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

After the Red Sox moved Walker Buehler to the bullpen Friday, the club needs a starter for Monday's contest. The leading contenders to fill the void in the rotation would seem to be Harrison and Richard Fitts, the latter of whom was recalled from Triple-A on Thursday and was made available out of the bullpen. Fitts has gone unused in the first three games of the Red Sox's series with the Yankees, and if Boston stays away from him again Sunday, the right-hander would likely be the top candidate to take the hill Monday. Acquired from the Giants in the June 15 deal that sent Rafael Devers to San Francisco, Harrison has yet to make his Red Sox debut. The 24-year-old southpaw has thus far made 10 starts for Worcester, turning in a 3.69 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 46:25 K:BB in 46.1 innings.

DeGrom (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Saturday and isn't expected to miss another start, MLB.com reports.

DeGrom skipped his previously scheduled start due to shoulder discomfort, which the team attributed more to workload than a legitimate injury. He's already tossed 140.1 innings this season, his most since 2019. DeGrom is tentatively expected to take the mound Monday at home against the Angels.

The Twins designated Ramirez for assignment Sunday.

Since Ramirez doesn't have minor-league options, the Twins had to move him off the 40-man roster to make room for right-hander Taj Bradley, who was called up from Triple-A St. Paul to start Sunday's game against the White Sox. After being summoned to the majors Aug. 1, Ramirez made nine relief appearances and submitted a 2.45 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 5:2 K:BB in 11 innings. He could attract interest via waivers from teams looking to add another multi-inning option to the bullpen.

The Twins recalled Bradley from Triple-A St. Paul ahead of his scheduled start Sunday against the White Sox in Chicago.

Bradley will be making his Twins debut Sunday, three and a half weeks after he was acquired from the Rays. The 24-year-old righty has made three starts for St. Paul, turning in a bloated 7.53 ERA and 1.63 WHIP but a more promising 18:2 K:BB in 14.1 innings. Bradley has shown the ability to make bats miss at a prolific clip over parts of three seasons in the majors, though he took a big step back in that regard during his time with the Rays in 2025, with his strikeout rate dropping to a career-low 20.2 percent in 21 big-league starts.

Ibanez went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Royals.

The veteran utility player gave the Tigers some breathing room in the eighth inning, when he appeared as a pinch hitter for Colt Keith and promptly delivered his fourth home run of the season. Ibanez has settled in as a bench option for Detroit, giving the team a right-handed bat to complement the left-handed Keith, who is often lifted when southpaws come in from the bullpen. Ibanez provides valuable depth for the Tigers, though his role doesn't carry much fantasy appeal.

Burger (wrist) has begun swinging a bat, MLB.com reports.

Burger's sprain appears to be on the milder side, and he could rejoin the Rangers after a minimum 10-day stay on the injured list. While he's been unavailable, Texas is using Rowdy Tellez at first base against righties and Ezequiel Duran against lefties.

Holton tossed 1.1 scoreless innings of relief to earn a hold in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Royals. He allowed a hit and struck out one.

Following five innings from starter Chris Paddack and another 1.1 innings from Troy Melton, Holton came on as the bridge to closer Will Vest, with Kyle Finnegan likely unavailable after logging two innings the day before. Holton continued his steady play for the Tigers and recorded his 14th hold of the season, which leads the team. He's not in the mix for saves with Vest and Finnegan around, but the lefty has fantasy appeal in leagues that count holds, and he's also chipped in five wins out of the bullpen for good measure.

Rogers went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Royals.

Picking up a start in place of Dillon Dingler, Rogers managed his third double of the season and collected his 15th and 16th RBI. It's been a struggle for the veteran catcher, who is slashing just .182/.278/.323 overall. The drop in power is noticeable, as Rogers had a .444 slugging percentage back in 2023, when he also smashed a career-high 21 home runs. The 30-year-old has had to settle for a backup role behind Dingler as his production has fallen off.

The transaction will likely be officially announced a few hours prior to the game's 2:10 p.m. ET start time. Bradley will become the second trade-deadline pickup the Twins will have added to the big-league rotation this weekend, as Mick Abel was called up from St. Paul to start in Saturday's 7-3 loss. Bradley -- who owns a 7.53 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 18:2 K:BB in 14.1 innings at St. Paul since being acquired from the Rays on July 31 -- could be in line for multiple turns through the rotation while the Twins wait for Pablo Lopez (shoulder) and Simeon Woods Richardson (illness) to return from the injured list.

Bazardo threw a scoreless eighth inning Saturday against the Athletics, allowing no hits and one walk with no strikeouts.

That's now seven consecutive scoreless appearances for Bazardo, who's given up just three runs over his past 16 outings. The right-hander has been very effective out of Seattle's bullpen since the start of June, turning in a 1.73 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 38:14 K:BB across his last 36.1 innings.
