Monk (rest) has been ruled out for Saturday's preseason game against the Warriors, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
Monk will be idle for a third consecutive preseason game. His next chance to play is Tuesday against the Trail Blazers, but it's possible that the Kings keep the veteran guard off the floor until the team's regular-season opener against the Clippers on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
