Carter's next opportunity to suit up for preseason action comes Oct. 18 versus Philadelphia, as Friday's game against New Orleans has been canceled due to inclement weather in the area. Orlando will likely exercise an abundance of precaution with the 25-year-old ramping up in advance of the regular season.
