Mitchell will slide back to the bench in Friday's preseason finale against the Nets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
With Immanuel Quickley (thumb) making his return to game action, Mitchell will return to his role off the bench. The 26-year-old is expected to play a significant role in the club's second unit in the backcourt behind Quickley and Gradey Dick.
