Barton (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the 76ers, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports.
As expected, Barton has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will be sidelined for a second straight game. With Gary Trent (elbow) also out, Chris Boucher and Jeff Dowtin are candidates for increased roles off the bench.
