Shannon (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's game against New Orleans.
Shannon's absence will leave Minnesota a bit shorthanded on the wing. His limited role makes the absence unlikely to have a significant fantasy impact, though the Timberwolves could distribute his available minutes among their remaining perimeter players.
