Bassey registered eight points (3-5 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 27 minutes in Tuesday's 101-89 preseason win over the Lakers.
Starting in place of a resting Draymond Green, Bassey struggled against Walker Kessler early but dominated after halftime, finishing with a team-high 12 boards. His five turnovers are a concern, but he's making a strong case for backup center minutes behind Green and Kristaps Porzingis.
