Melton (thumb) will play Thursday against Cleveland, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Melton's status was in question due to a left thumb strain after sitting out Wednesday, but he's been cleared to play with about one hour before tipoff. The 27-year-old is averaging 9.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals in his last five showings.
