  The Kings recalled Carter from the G League's Stockton Kings, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. Carter produced 25 points (7-19 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal in 32 minutes of Tuesday's 112-99 G League win over the South Bay Lakers, making the most of his reps in Stockton. At least for the time being, Carter is unlikely to break through Sacramento's rotation, but big changes could be coming to the franchise.

• Kings' Devin Carter: Removed from injury report

  Carter (illness) is off the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Thunder. Carter appears to have overcome an illness and is set to be available off the Kings' bench Wednesday. The second-year guard has averaged 2.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.8 steals in 8.1 minutes per contest over eight games this season.

  Carter is questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets due to right knee soreness. Carter did not crack the rotation in Saturday's game against the Bucks, but he now finds himself on the injury report with a right knee issue. If he is unable to go, the Kings could lean on Russell Westbrook and Keon Ellis in the backcourt, as Dennis Schroder (hip, questionable) is also dealing with an injury and Malik Monk (personal) has already been ruled out.

  Carter didn't play during Wednesday's 120-116 loss to the Suns. The 2024 first-rounder appears to be buried on Sacramento's depth chart at point guard. Carter was already set to begin the season behind Dennis Schroder, Keon Ellis and Malik Monk, and last week's signing of Russell Westbrook seems to have made Carter the odd man out.
