• Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Falls flat in start

  Tillman scored two points (0-5 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added three rebounds and one steal across eight minutes in Monday's 117-103 loss to the Grizzlies. Tillman has largely been outside of the Boston rotation this season, but he got the chance to make a rare start Monday due to Jaylen Brown (knee) sitting out. He was limited to two brief shifts at the beginning of both halves and didn't make much of an impact during his time on the court while missing all five of his field-goal attempts. Tillman is likely to drop back out of the rotation if Brown returns for Wednesday's game against the Heat.

• Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Starting Monday in Memphis

  Tillman will start at power forward in Monday's game against the Grizzlies, Brian Robb of MassLive.com reports. Tillman hasn't appeared in a game since March 6, with four of his absences being the result of a left knee joint sprain. He was cleared to return to action for Saturday's 121-111 win over the Spurs, but he went unused off the bench in a coach's decision. Though he's been outside of the rotation for much of the season, Tillman will get a chance to make his second start of the season as he returns to Memphis, where he spent the first four and a half years of his career before being traded to Boston last February. Jaylen Brown (knee) will sit out Monday, but if he's back for the Celtics' next game Wednesday versus the Heat, Tillman will likely head back to the bench and see his minutes disappear.

  Tillman (knee) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Spurs, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports. Tillman has missed the last 10 games for the Celtics due to a knee issue, but he will return to the floor Saturday in San Antonio. However, he 25-year-old big man likely won't make much of an impact from a fantasy perspective, as he averages 7.1 minutes per game off the bench for Boston this season.

Although Tillman has missed four straight games, he'll at least have a chance to return Saturday. With Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford and Luke Kornet all healthy in Boston's frontcourt, however, Tillman wouldn't be a lock to see the floor even if he's available against San Antonio.
