Johnson is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Warriors due to right hamstring tightness, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. Johnson appears to have tweaked his hamstring against Utah and is now in danger of missing his first contest of the season. If Johnson is unable to suit up against Golden State, Harrison Barnes, Julian Champagnie and Sandro Mamukelashvilli are candidates to receive increased playing time.

Johnson chipped in 22 points (7-15 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 110-104 victory over Oklahoma City. Johnson was involved in two key plays that began a monstrous 25-3 run in the first half. He jammed a momentum-building dunk and followed up immediately with a key three-pointer to give San Antonio the lead. Johnson continues to be a solid sixth man for the Spurs, and although the first unit eludes him, he's still averaging around 25 minutes per game. If Victor Wembanyama (knee) and Devin Vassell (knee) remain sidelined, Johnson should continue seeing elevated usage.

Johnson closed with 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists over 31 minutes during Thursday's 118-105 win over the Trail Blazers. Johnson set his season high in rebounds while posting his second-highest mark in points on the year. The 25-year-old remains in a reserve role, though his recent production and the injury of Jeremy Sochan (thumb) bodes well for Johnson's playing time moving forward. In his last five regular-season outings, Johnson has averaged 15.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.8 steals across 27.0 minutes per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field.

Johnson provided 13 points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds and one steal over 28 minutes during Thursday's 106-88 win over Utah. Johnson appears set to play a sixth-man role for the Spurs this season, although he could see some spot starts, depending on the matchup. The Kentucky product experienced a huge dip in production during his fifth season with the Spurs, starting only 27 of 69 games after being a consistent first-unit player for most of his career. He'll still garner enough minutes to be viable in fantasy formats, but it's best to keep expectations in check.

Johnson produced 16 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds and one steal over 29 minutes during Saturday's 109-106 win over the Rockets. Johnson was impressive Saturday and constantly delivered a lift off the bench for San Antonio. Even though the sixth-year forward would be a competent starter for several teams, the Spurs are comfortable playing him off the bench, allowing Harrison Barnes and Jeremy Sochan to start in the forward spots. Johnson should remain a reliable offensive weapon for San Antonio and a solid fantasy contributor in his steady second-unit role.
