Andrea Bargnani: Signs two-year deal in Europe
Andrea Bargnani signed a two-year contract with Saski Baskonia of the EuroLeague.Bargnani spent the 2015-16 league year with the Nets, but was waived following the season. Instead of remaining in the NBA for an eleventh season, he'll head to the EuroLeague with Saski Baskonia. Bargnani is well known in Europe after earning the 2005-06 EuroLeague Rising Star award, so he shouldn't have any trouble adjusting to the rules. Bargnani hasn't officially ruled out a return to the NBA in the future.

Andrea Bargnani was waived by the Nets on Saturday, Mike Mazzeo of ESPN.com reports.The Nets were trying to ship Bargnani out at the trade deadline, but found no suitors, so they'll now be forced to waive him instead. If he does indeed clear waivers, Bargnani will be a free agent and should be able to sign with any team. In 46 games this season with the Nets, he averaged 6.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.4 assists over 14 minutes.
