Jordan Farmar: Gets waived Monday
Jordan Farmar was waived Monday by the Kings on Monday, James Ham of CSN Bay Area reports.Farmar was initially waived by the Kings at the end of the preseason, only to be re-signed a week later as a depth option at point guard as a roster exception after Darren Collison had served the first five games of an eight-game suspension. With Collison having now served the last three games of the banishment and ready to play Tuesday against the Pelicans, Farmar will be let go once again in order to keep the roster at 15 men. Farmar will look to catch on with another team over the next few weeks before perhaps seeking a contract overseas.

Kings' Jordan Farmar: Signs with Kings
Jordan Farmar will sign with the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports. With Darren Collison still suspended for the next three games, the Kings are allowed to add an additional player to their roster for the time being. Farmar, who spent training camp with the Kings on a non-guaranteed deal, has familiarity with the club and will join the team as another veteran bench option to provide help in the backcourt. That said, as soon as Collison is removed from the suspended list, we could see Farmar back on the free agent market again, so this could be a short stay for the 29-year-old point guard.

Kings' Jordan Farmar: Waived by Kings
Jordan Farmar was waived by the Sacramento Kings on Monday. The veteran joined the Kings on a training camp deal and never stood much of a chance to make the final roster. While he's a 10-year NBA veteran, Farmar has had a difficult time finding a permanent home, having played for the Grizzlies, Clippers and Lakers for parts of the last three seasons. Still just 29 years old, Farmar may be able to latch on with another team, but he may ultimately be forced to explore his options overseas.

Kings' Jordan Farmar: Posts 14 points off bench Thursday
Jordan Farmar posted 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt), five assists, a rebound, a steal and a block across 18 minutes in Thursday's 116-104 preseason victory over the Lakers.Farmar bounced back from getting shut out in Monday's contest against Israeli team Maccabi Haifi to post his best scoring total of his three preseason appearances. The 29-year-old is trying to parlay his preexisting relationship with new head coach Dave Joerger into a roster spot for the coming season, and appears to have the upper hand over second-round pick Isaiah Cousins for the third-string point guard duties. That role will likely keep him out of the rotation most nights, but if he makes the squad out of training camp, Farmar should at least see some run with the second unit in the first eight games while point guard Darren Collison serves a suspension.

Kings' Jordan Farmar: Gets contract from Sacramento
Jordan Farmar agreed to a contract Tuesday with the Sacramento Kings, international basketball writer David Pick reports. The details surrounding Farmar's contract aren't available, but the veteran's deal likely doesn't contain a full guaranteed. Farmar will battle rookie Isaiah Cousins for the third-string role at point guard behind Darren Collison and Ty Lawson, and could have the upper hand for that role due to his familiarity with coach Dave Joerger, who he played for in Memphis last season. Farmar logged 12 games for the injury-riddled Grizzlies, averaging 9.2 points (on 42% shooting), 3.1 assists, 2.1 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.3 three-pointers across 24.3 minutes per contest.

Grizzlies' Jordan Farmar: Scores eight points in Tuesday's Game 2 loss
Jordan Farmar compiled eight points (3-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two assists, two steals, and one rebound in 31 minutes during the Memphis Grizzlies' 94-68 loss to the Spurs on Tuesday.Farmar climbed over 30 minutes for the first time since April 5, but the added court time didn't help him make marked improvement with his counting stats. The Spurs defense has been a dominant force all season, but Farmar will face the least resistance given that Tony Parker is among the opponent's weakest individual defenders. Even so, Farmar rarely commands the offense, as Tuesday was the fifth game in a row in which he failed to reach double figures in the scoring column.

Grizzlies' Jordan Farmar: Scores 15 points, dishes four assists in 31 minutes Tuesday
Jordan Farmar finished with 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 31 minutes during the Memphis Grizzlies' 108-92 win against the Bulls on Tuesday.Farmar has scored in double figures during three of the last four games, and he is locked in as the Grizzlies' starting point guard with Mike Conley (Achilles) unlikely to return this season even if the team makes the playoffs. In eight appearances during 2015-16, Farmar is averaging 10.4 points, 3.4 assists to 1.4 turnovers, 1.6 rebounds, 1.4 threes, and 1.4 steals in 25 minutes. If he continues to see sufficient minutes, Farmar might worth a look as a cheap option in daily leagues for Friday's matchup versus the Mavericks.
