Stephen Jackson: Won't attempt camp with Golden State
Warriors coach Steve Kerr confirmed Wednesday that Stephen Jackson won't attend training camp with Golden State, Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News reports. While Kerr indicated that the Warriors and Jackson had discussions about a training camp invite, an arrangement "ultimately didn't pan out." Jackson still appears interested in returning to the NBA in some capacity, but it's unclear if any teams have legitimate interest now that he's 38 years old and two years removed from playing in the league.

Stephen Jackson: Not planning to retire yet
Stephen Jackson hasn't received a training camp invitation from the Warriors, but remains interested in playing in the NBA during the upcoming season, Henry Wofford of CSN Bay Area reports.ESPN's Rachel Nichols reported early last week that Jackson would participate in camp with the Warriors, but the team quickly refuted that claim. It seems that Jackson had at least been in communication with the Warriors, however, so there's still a possibility for a reunion, even if only on a tryout basis. The 38-year-old Jackson has been a combustible personality throughout his career and hasn't played in the NBA since the 2013-14 season, making it difficult to envision him drawing serious interest from many teams.
