Joey Dorsey: Re-signs with FC Barcelona on two-year deal
Joey Dorsey re-signed Monday with FC Barcelona Basquet of the Spanish ACB League on a two-year contract worth more than $1 million, international basketball writer David Pick reports.The 32-year-old Dorsey looks content to remain overseas for the remainder of his career, as his two-year commitment to the Spanish club effectively closes the door on an NBA return. A second-round draft pick in 2008, Dorsey appeared in 130 career NBA games across parts of four seasons with the Rockets, Kings and Raptors.

Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at the Los Angeles Lakers, reports the Houston Chronicle. Howard sprained his ankle during Friday's win over the Suns and left the arena in a walking boot. In 32 games, Howard is averaging 16.3 points and 11.0 rebounds. Report: Rockets looking to clear roster spot for Smith via trade
The Houston Rockets are shopping players from the bottom third of their roster Wednesday to clear a spot for small forward Josh Smith, ESPN reports. Smith committed to joining the Rockets early Wednesday and passed through waivers later in the day, but now the team needs to make some room on the roster to bring him in. The candidates to move include Clint Capela, Isaiah Canaan, Tarik Black, Nick Johnson and Joey Dorsey. Smith is expected to join the starting lineup once he's ready to roll. He averaged 13.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals in 28 game with the Pistons.

Rockets Gs Isaiah Canaan, Francisco Garcia out Thursday
Houston Rockets guards Isaiah Canaan (ankle) and Francisco Garcia (ankle) will not play Thursday against the Kings, the Houston Chronicle reports. Canaan and Garcia join Dwight Howard (knee), Kostas Papanikolaou (knee) and Terrence Jones (knee) on the sidelines. James Harden and Joey Dorsey also appear on the team's injury report but neither will miss Thursday's game.

Rockets add Jeff Adrien, Joey Dorsey
The Houston Rockets have agreed to deals with center Joey Dorsey and forward Jeff Adrien Tuesday, according to Yahoo.com and the Houston Chronicle. Dorsey signed with the Rockets after spending three seasons playing in Europe. Adrien played for the Bucks last season, averaging 10.9 points and 7.8 rebounds in 28 games.
