Chase Budinger: Signs with Spanish club team
Chase Budinger has signed with Baskonia of the Spanish ACB EuroLeague, international reporter David Pick reports.Budinger has spent the last seven seasons in the NBA, spending time with the likes of Houston, Minnesota, Indiana and Phoenix. He split the 2015-16 campaign between the Pacers and Suns, finishing with averages of 4.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist over 14.1 minutes per game. Budinger latched on with the Nets during training camp, but was unable to make the final roster and will now head overseas to Spain for his first career appearance in the the international game.

Chase Budinger was waived by the Nets on Tuesday, Marc Spears of ESPN reports.Budinger signed a partially guaranteed deal with the Nets last month, but the team has decided to part ways with the former Arizona standout as it trims its roster before the start of the regular season. The 28-year-old Budinger will look to latch on with another team but may be forced to explore his options overseas or in the D-League.

Sports reports.The terms of the contract haven't been released, but Budinger will join the Nets for training camp and will presumably have to compete for a roster spot. Budinger, a veteran of seven NBA seasons, split time with both the Pacers and Suns during his 2015-16 campaign, finishing with averages of 4.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. If he's able to win a roster spot with the Nets, Budinger will likely serve as deep reserve at small forward behind presumptive starter Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
