    Jazz waive five Saturday

    The Utah Jazz hacked away at their bloated preseason roster Saturday, in order to set the 15-man roster for the start of the season. Brian Cook, Dominic McGuire, Justin Holiday, Lester Hudson and Scott Machado were all cut Wednesday, after playing minor roles in the preseason.
