Tyreke Evans: Scores 16 points in G League debut

Tyreke Evans played 26 minutes for Wisconsin in Friday's G League loss to College Park, registering 16 points (7-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt), five assists, three rebounds and one steal. The NBA veteran signed a contract with the Herd on Monday and was immediately given a chance to start for the G League club. He was aggressive -- though not entirely sharp -- on offense, and he showed off some of the passing skills that made him a solid source of assists during his tenure in the Association. Evans has not played in the NBA since 2018-19, so it'll likely take him some time to ramp back up to top game shape. If he plays well enough with the Herd, it isn't out of the question that the Bucks could opt to bring him up to the NBA squad.

Tyreke Evans: Inks G League deal

Tyreke Evans signed a contract with Milwaukee's G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.Charania also notes that this deal could result in a contract with Milwaukee, depending on his performance. Evans was reinstated by the NBA one month ago after being handed a suspension in May of 2019 for violating the league's anti-drug program. He last played in the NBA during the 2018-19 season, averaging 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists over 69 games with Indiana.

Tyreke Evans (suspension) was reinstated by the NBA on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.Evans was suspended by the league in May of 2019 after violating the NBA's anti-drug program, but he'll be eligible to sign with another team as early as Friday. He appeared in 69 games with the Pacers during the 2018-19 campaign and averaged 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 20.3 minutes per game, but it's not yet clear what kind of role he could have if he lands a roster spot following his reinstatement.

Tyreke Evans: Exploring opportunities in Europe

Tyreke Evans (suspension) has been evaluating potential opportunities in Europe as he attempts to resume his playing career, Aris Barkas of EuroHoops.net reports. The 30-year-old has been out of basketball since he was dismissed and disqualified by the NBA last May after violating the league's anti-drug program. Evans isn't eligible to apply for reinstatement in the NBA until the summer of 2021, so he'll presumably look abroad for some extra financial security in the meantime. Though no deal with any team appears imminent, Evans' representatives have reportedly received overtures from at least three EuroLeague clubs in Panathinaikos, Baskonia and Olympiacos, all of whom are seeking further reinforcement in the backcourt.

Pacers' Tyreke Evans: Dismissed, disqualified from NBA

Tyreke Evans has been dismissed and disqualified from the NBA due to a violation of the NBA's anti-drug program, Ben Rohrbach of Yahoo Sports reports. He is eligible to apply for reinstatement in two years. This is obviously a serious development for Evans, who won't be able to play in the NBA again until 2021-22 at the earliest, which would be his age 32-season. He's coming off the worst season of his career, appearing in 69 games for the Indiana Pacers and scoring 10.2 points per game on 38.9 percent shooting. Evans was set to become a free agent this summer.

Pacers' Tyreke Evans: Another strong scoring night Sunday

Tyreke Evans ended with 21 points (7-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 26 minutes during Sunday's 110-106 loss to the Celtics.Evans finished off his season with 21 points in 26 minutes as the Indiana Pacers dropped their fourth straight game to fall out of the playoffs. Evans had been touted as a potential fantasy asset across many formats but failed to deliver in what could only be described as a wasted season. His future is unclear and at this stage, he would likely have to be on another team for owners to have any faith in his ability to produce moving forward.

Pacers' Tyreke Evans: Team-best 19 points Friday

Tyreke Evans totaled 19 points (6-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, and one assist in 22 minutes during Friday's 104-96 loss to Boston.Evans led all Pacer players with 19 points in just 22 minutes Friday, shooting the ball well again, albeit in a losing effort. The Indiana Pacers simply do not have anyone who can score 30 points on demand without Victor Oladipo and the initial fears heading into the playoffs are certainly justified right now. Game 4 will be on Sunday in Indiana with the Pacers looking to extend the series to a fifth game.

Pacers' Tyreke Evans: Has knee drained again

Tyreke Evans, after bumping knees during March 30's game against the Magic, has recently had his knee drained again, J. Michael of The Indianapolis Star reports.Evans has been battling through knee pain for much of the year, and it's reflected in his stats. He's shooting just 38.9 percent from the field on the season and playing only 20.3 minutes per game. Given the Indiana Pacers' lack of top-tier offensive threats, having Evans healthy and available in a potent sixth-man role could be the key to extending the series against the Celtics.

Pacers' Tyreke Evans: Scores 27 points Wednesday

Tyreke Evans registered 27 points (9-14 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five assists and two rebounds across 26 minutes in Wednesday's 135-134 win over the Hawks.Evans has been a consistent producer off the Indiana Pacers' bench so far this season, averaging 10.2 points over 20.3 minutes. Wednesday's stat line reminded others that Evans can step up his game if need be, as his five threes on the night tied his season-high and serve as evidence to the fact that he can contribute scoring off the bench in the postseason should the team struggle offensively.
