Jeff Adrien: Signs contract with Israeli team
Jeff Adrien signed a contract Sunday with Bnei Herzliya of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, international basketball writer David Pick reports.The 30-year-old has seen time with five NBA teams over as many seasons in the league, but only suited up in the Chinese Basketball Association in 2015-16 for the Guangdong Southern Tigers. The stint in Asia did little to revive appeal from NBA teams, so Adrien will now head over to Israel in order to continue his career.

Jeff Adrien: Waived by New Orleans Saturday
Jeff Adrien was waived by New Orleans Saturday, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.The 28-year-old forward from the University of Connecticut was unable to show enough this preseason to earn a roster spot on Opening night. He played 17 games for the Timberwolves last year, averaging 3.5 points, 4.5 boards, and 0.5 blocks in 12.6 minutes per game. He'll likely start the season in the D-League.

Pelicans' Jeff Adrien: Perfect versus HOU
Jeff Adrien tallied 11 points (3-3 FG, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two steals and a block in a 100-120 loss to the Rockets on Monday.This was a revenge game of sorts for Adrien, as he played for the Rockets two years ago. The power forward has had a hard time finding a role in the NBA and he'll likely have the same problem here. He's currently behind Dante Cunningham, Ryan Anderson, and Anthony Davis on the depth chart and he surely wont move ahead of any of those guys.
