Aaron White: Could make jump to NBA in 2019-20
Aaron White has garnered interest from the Wizards and could sign with the club during the offseason, Ben Standig of NBC Sports Washington reports.Washington has held White's rights since drafting him with the 49th overall pick in 2015. The 26-year-old has suited up for the organization's summer-league entry in the past and was interested in signing with Washington last offseason before ultimately returning to Lithuanian club Zalgiris Kaunas for a second straight campaign. It's unclear if the Wizards would be willing to extend him a deal with meaningful guaranteed money attached to it, which could motivate White to remain overseas in pursuit of a more lucrative offer.

Aaron White: Will stay overseas another year
Aaron White signed a two-year contract Friday with B.C. Zenit Saint Petersburg of the Russian VTB United League, CSN Mid-Atlantic's J. Michael reports.White, a second-round pick by the Wizards in 2014, spent last season in Germany before rejoining the NBA club for summer league play this past month. In five Las Vegas Summer League appearances, the former Iowa big man averaged 7.2 points and shot 29.4 percent from three-point range. With the Wizards not confident that White could be a capable stretch four at the NBA level just yet, the 6-foot-8 forward will continue to hone his craft abroad. The second year of his contract includes an NBA out clause, so he could conceivably join the Wizards in 2017-18 if he submits a strong season in Russia.

Wizards draft pick Aaron White likely headed to Europe
Washington Wizards second-round draft pick Aaron White is playing with the Summer League team currently, but his future may have the former Iowa standout playing in Europe, per CSNWashington.com. White, who was tabbed with the 49th pick, could be used by the team as a strech-four in coach Randy Wittman's offense, but White may have to get some experience in the role overseas before making an impact in the NBA. "With international basketball, Aaron would play a specific role much to what his role would be like with the Wizards," White's agent, Chris Emens said. "These guys play more intelligent basketball. They're more physical. They're more experienced. Aaron going against those guys is going to be better for his development than going to the D-League."
