Shane Larkin: Inks deal in Turkey
Shane Larkin confirmed Thursday that he would sign a one-year, $1.8 million contract with Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball Super League, freelance reporter David Pick reports.The 25-year-old, who suited up in 54 regular-season tilts for the Celtics last season and averaged 4.3 points, 1.8 assists, 1.7 rebounds in 14.4 minutes per game, likely had opportunities from NBA teams to compete for a role as a depth point guard. It's less likely, however, that any offers Larkin might have received contained much guaranteed money, prompting him to head overseas for greater financial security. If Larkin shows well during his time in Europe, he might be able to secure more favorable offers stateside next summer.

Celtics' Shane Larkin: Not available for Game 7
Shane Larkin (shoulder) is feeling good, but he won't play Sunday against the Cavaliers, Scott Souza of The Providence Journal reports.Larkin won't be available for the series finale as he continues to deal with a shoulder "sprain, partially torn ligament." Additionally, Larkin would be putting himself at risk to play in the NBA Finals should the Boston Celtics beat the Cavaliers on Sunday, seeing as he could require an operation if he takes a significant hit on his left shoulder within the next six weeks. Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge stated Thursday that Shane Larkin (shoulder) would likely be unavailable until late in the Eastern Conference Finals, Ben Rohrbach of Yahoo Sports reports.This all but certainly rules out Larkin for the first two games of the series, which are set to take place Sunday and Tuesday. Ainge's statements fall right in line with those of head coach Brad Stevens on Wednesday, when he said Larkin would be out for the foreseeable future. If anything, Ainge may be a little more optimistic, but the Celtics will have to take the Cavaliers into deep waters to see Larkin's prospective availability come to fruition.
