Shabazz Muhammad agreed to a contract Sunday with the G League's Grand Rapids Gold, NBA writer Marc Stein reports. The 2013 first-round draft pick will head to Las Vegas to join the Gold for the G League's showcase event, hoping to make enough of an impression to generate renewed interest at the NBA level. Shabazz Muhammad: Sticking in China

Shabazz Muhammad agreed to a contract Thursday with the Shenzhen Aviators of the Chinese Basketball Association, Dario Skerletic of Sportando.com reports. After spending the first five seasons of his professional career in the NBA, the 14th overall pick of the 2013 draft headed to China last fall following his release from the Bucks at the conclusion of training camp. He appeared in 41 CBA games for the Shanxi Brave Dragons in 2018-19, averaging 29.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. The 26-year-old will likely remain one of the top wings on the circuit during the upcoming campaign, albiet with a different club.

    Shabazz Muhammad: Waived by Bucks

Shabazz Muhammad was waived by the Bucks on Thursday, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Muhammad has five years of NBA experience, so there's certainly a chance he's given a long look by some other team's in the league. During the 2017-18 campaign, specifically, the forward averaged just 5.0 points and 1.8 rebounds across 9.7 minutes. If he happens to go unsigned, Muhammad could opt to head overseas on a more lucrative contract. No matter where Muhammad lands, he won't be fantasy relevant.

Muhammed agreed to a training-camp deal with the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.Shabazz Muhammad ended last season with Milwaukee after beginning it with Minnesota, averaging 5.0 points in 9.7 minutes over 43 games. He will add some more wing depth for Milwaukee, but will likely continue to play a small role with the team if he's able to break camp with a roster spot in hand.

Bucks' Shabazz Muhammad: Scores 22 points off the bench Monday

Shabazz Muhammad totaled 22 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), and eight rebounds in 23 minutes during Monday's 102-86 victory over Orlando.Muhammad scored a season-high 22 points on Monday while also adding eight rebounds. He has proven over his career that he has the ability to put the ball in the basket when afforded the opportunity. However, he doesn't really do much besides scoring, leaving him as purely a points streamer, and only when he gets the minutes.

Bucks' Shabazz Muhammad: Questionable for Monday

Shabazz Muhammad (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday's matchup with the Magic, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Muhammad missed Saturday's contest with a sprained right ankle and is currently in danger of sitting out a second straight game. Look for him to test out the ankle during pregame warmups before a final decision is made on his availability. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) also questionable, the Milwaukee Bucks could be short on bodies in the frontcourt.

Bucks' Shabazz Muhammad: Out with sprained ankle

Shabazz Muhammad is out for Saturday's game against the Knicks due to a sprained right ankle, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. This is the first news of Muhammad dealing with an injury, so it seems likely he picked it up during the team's most recent game Thursday against Brooklyn, when he played nine minutes and shot 1-for-4. That said, usually doesn't see more than 10 minutes on any given night, so his absence from the rotation shouldn't change things too drastically.

Bucks' Shabazz Muhammad: Non-factor offensively Thursday

Shabazz Muhammad added five points (1-4 FG, 3-4 FT) and two rebounds off the bench during the Milwaukee Bucks' 119-111 loss to the Nets on Thursday. For the second straight game, Muhammad was a non-factor offensively, as he has only scored seven points dating back to Apr. 3. The former UCLA product enjoyed a two-game stretch in March in which he poured in 33 points, but aside from that, Muhammad usually produces around his season average of 4.6 points per game.

Bucks' Shabazz Muhammad: Leads team in scoring off bench

Shabazz Muhammad played 20 minutes off the bench Friday against Chicago, finishing with 21 points (9-12 FG, 2-2 3PT, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. It was easily the best performance in quite some time for Muhammad, who's now strung together a pair of strong showings after playing sparingly through his first few weeks in Milwaukee. The 25-year-old benefited from the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) on Friday, however, and he'll likely sink back into a reduced role once Antetokounmpo returns, which could come as early as Sunday against San Antonio.

Bucks' Shabazz Muhammad: DNP-Coach's Decision during Monday's win

Shabazz Muhammad did not see the floor during Monday's 121-103 win over the Grizzlies.Muhammad was a healthy scratch after scoring six points to go with one board and one steal in six minutes during Friday's win over the Knicks. Muhammad is averaging just 6.5 minutes per game through two appearances with the Milwaukee Bucks, this after earning 9.4 minutes per night through 32 showings with the Timberwolves. Meanwhile fellow recent addition, Brandon Jennings, exploded for a near triple-double in his season debut on Monday, so there's not much reason to expect Muhammad to make a splash here.
