Giles and the Los Angeles Lakers agreed to a two-way contract Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.The Lakers were thin on frontcourt depth, so Giles will step in to give the team a healthy body at center. Before catching on with the Lakers, Giles had made 16 appearances for the Nets this season in what was his first NBA action since 2020-21. He averaged 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 5.1 minutes per game for Brooklyn.
