    Matt Bonner announced his retirement from professional basketball Friday, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.Bonner's 10-year tenure with the Spurs came to an end this past offseason, and after failing to catch on with another team over the summer and the first few months of the 2016-17 campaign, he decided to call it a career. The 36-year-old, who spent his first two seasons in the league with the Raptors, was a 41.4 percent shooter from three-point range over 12 NBA seasons and won two NBA championships during his time with the Spurs. He'll remain with the Spurs organization in a broadcasting role as he transitions to a new line of work.
