  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Logs first double-double of season

Carter produced 11 points (3-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 32 minutes during Monday's 119-115 victory over the Pacers.

Carter has registered at least 10 rebounds in each of the first four games of the regular season, but Monday's game was his first reaching double-digit scoring. He isn't expected to produce a lot of points on a night-to-night basis while playing alongside Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner (illness), but Carter provides value with his rebounding and steals.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Available off bench Monday

Adams (knee/calf) will be available for Monday's game against San Antonio, per the NBA's injury report.

Adams has missed the first three games of the regular season due to calf and knee injuries. However, after going through pregame warmups without any setbacks, he is available Monday to make his Rockets debut off the bench.

  • Maxi Kleber C | LAL

Mavericks' Maxi Kleber: Won't travel for Tuesday's game

Coach Jason Kidd said Monday that Kleber (hamstring) will not travel with the team for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves, Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Kleber is dealing with a right hamstring injury that will hold him out of both Monday and Tuesday's games. However, Kidd said the injury is not expected to be a long-term setback for the big man. The 32-year-old's next opportunity to feature will come Thursday against the Rockets in Dallas.

  • Wizards' Jonas Valanciunas: Starting Monday

Valanciunas will enter the starting lineup in Monday's matchup against the Hawks, Chase Hughes of Monumental Sports Network reports.

The club will opt for its jumbo lineup as the veteran center is slated to replace Carlton Carrington in the starting five. Valanciunas will join Alex Sarr in the frontcourt against Jalen Johnson and Clint Capela. Valanciunas has appeared in two games off the bench, during which he has amassed 28 points and 13 rebounds across 41 total minutes.

  • Drew Eubanks C | SAC

Jazz's Drew Eubanks: Not playing Monday

Eubanks (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Mavericks, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Eubanks had initially been listed as questionable with the illness, but his condition evidently didn't improve enough leading up to the 8:30 p.m. ET tipoff for the Jazz to clear him to play. The veteran center hasn't been part of Utah's rotation this season, as John Collins has been serving as the primary backup to starter Walker Kessler.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Could return vs. San Antonio

Adams will test out his right calf during pregame warmups ahead of Monday's contest against the Spurs, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Adams has yet to make his Rockets regular-season debut due to knee and calf injuries, but the 31-year-old big man will test things out during pregame warmups. If he's good to go for Monday's contest, he'll provide depth in the Rockets' frontcourt behind starters Jabari Smith and Alperen Sengun.

  • Goga Bitadze C | ORL

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Won't play vs. Indiana

Bitadze (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pacers.

Bitadze was added to Monday morning's injury report with a foot injury that he may have picked up during Friday's win over the Nets. Bitadze has played 16 minutes across the Magic's first three games of the regular season, and those minutes will likely be absorbed by Moritz Wagner and Caleb Houstan for Monday's contest. Bitadze's next chance at suiting up will be against the Bulls on Wednesday.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Out Monday

Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Kings.

Coach Chauncey Billups said Sunday that Williams is progressing toward a return, but the big man will remain out for at least one more game. Williams' next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Clippers. However, given his injury history, even when he's cleared to suit up, Williams will likely face heavy minute restrictions.

  • Jay Huff C | IND

Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Getting standard NBA contract

The Grizzlies will convert Huff's two-way contract into a four-year standard NBA deal Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Huff has been excellent off Memphis' bench to begin the campaign, averaging 13.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 19.0 minutes across three appearances. The Virginia product went undrafted in 2021 and has spent most of his career bouncing around the G League, making only 31 NBA appearances over the previous three seasons. He won the 2023 G League Defensive Player of the Year award and is looking to maintain a sizable role in a backcourt led by Jaren Jackson and Zach Edey.

  • Maxi Kleber C | LAL

Mavericks' Maxi Kleber: Downgraded to out

Kleber (hamstring) will not play Monday against the Jazz, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

This isn't a surprise after Kleber was absent from the morning shootaround. It remains to be seen if Kleber will be available Tuesday against the Timberwolves. Naji Marshall is a candidate to see more minutes with Kleber sidelined against Utah.
