Ivica Zubac C | IND
Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Huge double-double Saturday
Zubac recorded 24 points (11-17 FG, 2-3 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists and a block across 39 minutes in Saturday's 109-104 win over the Nuggets.
Zubac made personal history with his excellent performance Saturday, as he's scored at least 20 points in back-to-back games for the first time in his career. The big man is enjoying a bigger role on offense with Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined, and until Leonard is ready to handle his regular workload upon his return, Zubac could continue to operate as the Clippers' third-best offensive weapon behind James Harden and Norman Powell. This should translate into a substantial uptick in his fantasy appeal, as Zubac hasn't averaged more than 11.7 points per game in any of his previous eight seasons in The Association.

Nikola Jokic C | DEN
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: 41-point effort not enough
Jokic recorded 41 points (14-26 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block across 37 minutes in Saturday's 109-104 loss to the Clippers.
The Nuggets struggled with their shooting during the first half, and while Jokic took over in the second half, it wasn't enough to give Denver its first win of the season. The star big man made a career-high seven three-pointers in this game, and while the Nuggets are stumbling to start the season, Jokic's early-season numbers suggest fantasy managers will remain very happy with his overall contributions.

Steven Adams C | HOU
Rockets' Steven Adams: Won't play Saturday
Adams (knee) is out for Saturday's game against the Spurs, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Adams was tabbed as a game-time call for this rivalry matchup, but the big man has been ruled out, and he's yet to make his 2024-25 season debut. Adams' next chance to play will come in a rematch with the Spurs on Monday.
-
Robert Williams III C | POR
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Not playing Sunday
Williams (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game against the Pelicans.
Williams continues to deal with a hamstring injury and is set to miss a third straight game. His next chance to play will come against the Kings on Monday, but with that being the second half of a back-to-back set, he could miss that contest too. With Williams out, Donovan Clingan should continue to see steady minutes as Deandre Ayton's backup.
-
Cody Zeller C | HOU
Hawks' Cody Zeller: Remains out Sunday
Zeller (personal) is out for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
Zeller will miss his third straight game Friday while being away from the team. He doesn't have a clear timetable for his return, and chances are he'll also miss the Monday contest against the Wizards in the second half of a back-to-back.
-
Christian Koloko C | ATL
Lakers' Christian Koloko: Not playing Saturday
Koloko (illness) is out for Saturday's game against the Kings, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports.
The Lakers have labeled Koloko's status as a "return to competition conditioning," so there's no clear timetable on when he'll be back. The big man is expected to play a role off the bench once he's cleared.
-
Steven Adams C | HOU
Rockets' Steven Adams: Questionable against Spurs
Adams (knee/calf) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Spurs.
Adams is in danger of missing his third straight contest to begin the season while dealing with injuries to his right knee and left calf. If Adams is ruled out yet again, Jock Landale should continue to operate as Houston's backup center.
-
Mark Williams C | PHO
Hornets' Mark Williams: Remains sidelined
Williams (foot) won't play in Saturday's game versus the Heat.
With Williams set to miss his third straight game Saturday due to a strained tendon in his left foot, Nick Richards should remain in the starting five. Williams' next chance to return to action is Wednesday's matchup with Toronto.

Nikola Vucevic C | BOS
Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Posts double-double Friday
Vucevic had 22 points (7-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists over 32 minutes during Friday's 133-122 victory over Milwaukee.
Vucevic didn't have his best shooting performance Friday, although, to be fair, it's not easy to score near the rim against a frontcourt of Brook Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Still, the veteran big man delivered a solid showing and has now opened the season with back-to-back double-doubles. It's a better-than-expected start to the campaign for the 34-year-old veteran, who could have a ton of trade value as the season progresses if he manages to continue producing at this rate in the coming weeks.

Myles Turner C | MIL
Pacers' Myles Turner: Swats three shots Friday
Turner accumulated 13 points (5-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 23 minutes during Friday's 123-98 loss to the Knicks.
The Pacers struggled offensively throughout the entire game, but the big man found a way to make an impact on both ends of the court with his three blocks and seven rebounds. Turner has posted a combined 33 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and seven blocks over his first two appearances this season, and there's a strong case to highlight him as the Pacers' most consistent player over the team's first two outings.
