  • Raptors' Jontay Porter: Iffy against Houston

Porter (back) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Rockets.

Porter is in danger of missing his fifth consecutive contest Friday with back spasms. Porter will likely compete for backup center minutes with Kelly Olynyk (trade pending) when available.

  • Ismael Kamagate: Draft rights shipped to Clippers

The Nuggets traded the draft rights to Kamagate in exchange for cash considerations Thursday, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Kamagate was a second-round pick in the 2022 NBA Draft but has continued to play in Europe. The Clippers will now have his rights if Kamagate decides to come over to the NBA.

  • Robin Lopez C | MIL

Kings' Robin Lopez: Sent to Kings, likely to be waived

The Bucks are trading Lopez to Sacramento in exchange for cash considerations Thursday. The veteran big man is expected to be waived and become a free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Lopez has received a minimal role for Milwaukee this season, averaging 1.1 points in 4.1 minutes across 16 appearances. If the veteran big man is released and clears waivers, he will likely look to join another franchise as a depth piece in the frontcourt.

  • Bam Adebayo PF | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Scores 20 points against Spurs

Adebayo finished Wednesday's 116-104 victory over San Antonio with 20 points (10-14 FG, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 29 minutes.

Adebayo has gone two consecutive games without a double-double, and this is just the third time he has gone through that run this season, a strong sign of his consistency levels on both ends of the court. The big man is having another strong season and is averaging 20.2 points with a career-best 10.5 rebounds per game. He has averaged a double-double in three of his last five seasons.

  • Thaddeus Young PF | PHO

Nets' Thaddeus Young: Moving to Brooklyn

The Raptors are trading Young and Dennis Schroder to the Nets in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie on Thursday, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Young has seen an increased role for the Raptors lately, averaging 6.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 21.1 minutes across his last 15 appearances. However, the 35-year-old doesn't seem to fit Toronto's plan of a youth movement and will head to Brooklyn. With the Nets, Young will likely compete for minutes with Ben Simmons and Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle).

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Another double-double Wednesday

Wembanyama posted 18 points (7-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 116-104 loss to Miami.

Wembanyama has recorded seven double-doubles over his last eight appearances, and the star rookie continues to make a huge impact on both ends of the court despite the Spurs' overall struggles. During that eight-game span, Wembanyama is averaging 20.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.8 blocks and 1.6 steals per contest.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Posts double-double in win

Poeltl recorded 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one block across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 123-117 victory over the Hornets.

Poeltl has excellent touch around the rim, shoots the ball at a high clip and is an outstanding rebounder -- traits that make him a reliable fantasy contributor and a player who can post double-doubles regularly. He missed 11 games in January due to a nagging ankle injury, but he seems to be trending in the right direction now that he's back on the court, and he should have a sizable role if he stays with Toronto past the trade deadline.

  • Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Heading to Washington

Holmes was traded from the Mavericks to the Wizards on Thursday in exchange for Daniel Gafford, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Holmes had an inconsistent role for the Mavericks over the past few weeks, but he'll have an opportunity for a fresh start with his new team. Since Gafford is heading to Dallas as part of the return, Holmes will likely serve as the Wizards' primary backup at center once Marvin Bagley (back) is healthy.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Big night in Wednesday's start

Horford ended with 14 points (5-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt), eight rebounds, eight assists, four blocks and two steals in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 125-117 win over Atlanta.

Getting his second straight start, Horford turned back the clock with a fantastic performance that saw him tie his season highs in both assists and made three-pointers while posting his highest block total since he racked up five rejections against the Thunder on Jan. 2. The 37-year-old center doesn't play both ends of back-to-backs anymore and sees his workload and role vary based on opponents, which limits his fantasy value in season-long formats, but Horford is still useful in DFS in the right matchup.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Dealt to Dallas

The Mavericks acquired Gafford from the Wizards on Thursday in exchange for Richaun Holmes and a 2024 first-round draft pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Gafford is amid the best season of his career, averaging 10.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 26.5 minutes. He's started all 45 of his appearances this season, but that may change in Dallas. Rookie Dereck Lively has proven to be effective at center, so pulling him from the starting group is probably unnecessary. However, the deal could ultimately create a near minutes split between the two, which could damage the fantasy value of both players.
