  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Hawks' Clint Capela: Out at least one week

Capela was diagnosed with a left adductor strain following an MRI on Sunday and is scheduled to be re-evaluated in 7-to-10 days.

Though Atlanta didn't indicate that Capela was playing through an injury in Saturday's 141-134 overtime win over the Warriors, he reportedly experienced discomfort late in the victory and was sent in for further testing Sunday. With the MRI revealing the adductor injury, Capela will now be sidelined for at least Atlanta's next four games before the team updates his status. Onyeka Okongwu will presumably step in as the Hawks' starting center in the interim and should be viewed as a must-roster option in nearly every format with the likelihood that he'll take on a 30-plus-minute role.

  • Brook Lopez C | LAC

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Remains out Sunday

Lopez (personal) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jazz.

Lopez will miss both halves of the Bucks' weekend back-to-back set for personal reasons. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday in Phoenix. Robin Lopez started Saturday's matchup in his brother's absence but played just four minutes, while Bobby Portis and Jae Crowder saw expanded roles off the bench.

  • Mike Muscala C | OKC

Pistons' Mike Muscala: Clears concussion protocol

Muscala (concussion) is not listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Magic.

Muscala has cleared concussion protocol and will suit up after missing Friday's loss to the Clippers. With Isaiah Stewart (ankle) out, Muscala may draw a start at power forward, but it'd be surprising to see him play more than 20 minutes.

  • Adama Sanogo PF | CHI

Bulls' Adama Sanogo: Stellar outing in G League

Sanogo posted 20 points (9-14 FG, 2-5 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 29 minutes Friday in the G League Windy City Bulls' 101-94 win over the Greensboro Swarm.

Sanogo has finished with at least 20 points and 15 rebounds in three straight G League games. On the season, he's averaging 19.8 points and 11.2 rebounds in 29.3 minutes per game in 26 appearances.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Spurs' Zach Collins: Near double-double before ejection

Collins was ejected from Saturday's 117-101 loss to the Cavaliers after totaling 10 points (5-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes.

Collins has played exactly 20 minutes in back-to-back contests since returning from a three-game absence due to a right ankle sprain. He was more productive Saturday than he was Friday, nearly recording a double-double before getting ejected during the final minutes of the loss to Cleveland. It appeared Collins' forearm/elbow made contact with Donovan Mitchell's face while the big man was attempting to set a screen, and Mitchell took exception, charging after Collins. Both players were ejected, but it'd be surprising if the league intervened with suspensions.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Hawks' Clint Capela: Big double-double Saturday

Capela posted 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes during Saturday's 141-134 overtime win over Golden State.

Capela posted his 11th game with at least 15 points, while Saturday also marked his seventh game with at least 15 rebounds this season. Capela has been sharp lately, delivering 15.0 points and 12.8 rebounds on 63.6 percent shooting in 24.5 minutes per game across his last four contests.

  • Warriors' Kevon Looney: Logs no shots, pulls down 10 boards

Looney closed Saturday's 141-134 overtime loss to the Hawks with 10 rebounds and one assist over 15 minutes.

Looney was not tasked with an enlarged role and made no plays offensively Saturday, even while Dario Saric (illness) was unavailable and Andrew Wiggins (ankle) exited early. Looney's passiveness on offense combined with his deteriorating ability to defend in space is leading to a minor bench role. Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu combined for 31 rebounds, which is a matchup that Looney has combated historically -- symbolizing how his inability to be a viable rotation player a limiting factor for Golden State moving forward.

  • Jock Landale C | ATL

Rockets' Jock Landale: Iffy for Sunday

Landale is questionable for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves due to a right wrist bruise.

Landale is a sporadic part of the rotation, so his potential absence shouldn't impact fantasy hoops. If he's sidelined, Boban Marjanovic may crack the rotation for a few minutes to combat Minnesota's frontcourt size.

  • Hornets' Mark Williams: Won't play Sunday

Williams (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pacers.

Williams hasn't played since Dec. 8 due to a back contusion. He doesn't have a timetable to return, but his next chance to suit up will come Monday versus the Lakers, though he can be considered doubtful for that contest. Nick Richards should continue filling in as the starting center in Williams' absence.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Posts double-double in victory

Allen totaled 26 points (12-18 FG, 2-2 FT) and 16 rebounds across 31 minutes during Saturday's 117-101 victory over San Antonio.

Allen was on the injury report with a recurring ankle injury before the contest, but he put in 31 minutes of work in the decisive win over the Spurs. The big man will have a day of rest before facing Domantas Sabonis and the Kings, and they'll need a solid frontcourt to meet the challenge. Both Allen and Evan Mobley are battling nagging injuries, so their statuses should be monitored.
