  • Hawks' Bruno Fernando: Still out

Fernando (back) won't play in Sunday's game versus the Raptors, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Fernando will miss a third straight game Sunday due to back spasms. The Hawks are continuing to evaluate the reserve center's status on a game-by-game basis.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Good to go against Philadelphia

Jokic (eye) is available for Saturday's game versus the 76ers.

Jokic has been upgraded from probable to available Saturday despite dealing with a left eye abrasion. The superstar center is averaging 32.6 points, 13.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 35.2 minutes across his last five outings.

  • Mo Bamba C | UTA

76ers' Mo Bamba: Won't play against Denver

Bamba (knee) is out for Saturday's game versus the Nuggets.

Bamba's absence streak will extend to seven games Saturday due to right knee inflammation. His next chance to suit up is Monday's matchup with Portland.

  • Olivier Sarr C | CLE

Thunder's Olivier Sarr: Good to go against Detroit

Sarr (hip) isn't on the injury report for Sunday's game versus the Pistons.

Sarr will return to action Sunday after missing the last two contests with a right hip strain. However, Sarr is unlikely to receive significant playing time.

  • Raptors' Jontay Porter: Probable for Sunday

Porter (eye) is listed as probable for Sunday's tilt against the Hawks.

Porter was forced out of Friday's game against the Clippers after getting poked in the left eye and suffering an abrasion. He seems to be trending in the direction of playing Sunday, though an official decision on his status won't arrive until closer to the game's 6 p.m. ET tipoff. Thaddeus Young drew the start at center in the loss to the Clippers, so Porter will presumably be in store for a backup role if cleared to play Sunday.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Unlikely for Sunday

Poeltl (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's matchup with the Hawks.

Poeltl looks on track to miss a 10th straight game Sunday due to a left ankle sprain, but after he taking part in half-court work Wednesday, he's steadily ramping up and looks on pace to return to action at some point next week. Expect Poeltl to be ruled out for Sunday's game shortly before the 6 p.m. ET tipoff, but he could have a more realistic shot at suiting up Tuesday in Chicago if he's able to get in a practice Monday.

  • Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Another absence coming

Powell (eye) won't play in Saturday's game versus the Kings.

Powell's absence streak will extend to three games Saturday while he deals with a left eye abrasion. His next to play is Monday's matchup with Orlando.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Knicks' Jericho Sims: Moves back to bench

Sims isn't in the starting five for Saturday's game versus the Heat.

Isaiah Hartenstein will replace Sims in the starting lineup Saturday. Sims is averaging 0.4 points in 3.0 minutes across his last five appearances coming off the bench.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Good to go against Miami

Hartenstein (Achilles) is available for Saturday's game versus the Heat.

Hartenstein has been upgraded from questionable to available Saturday after missing the Knicks' previous three contests with an ankle injury. Hartenstein is set to replace Jericho Sims in the starting five against Miami.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: X-rays negative on thumb

Nurkic said after Friday's 133-131 loss to the Pacers that X-rays on his injured left thumb returned negative, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Nurkic was forced out early in Friday's loss, finishing the game with two points (1-3 FG), five assists, four rebounds and three steals in 20 minutes. Fortunately for Nurkic, he isn't dealing with any structural damage and is merely nursing a jammed thumb heading into Sunday's game in Orlando. He can be viewed as questionable for that contest until the Suns release their next updated injury report.
