  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Jazz's Jusuf Nurkic: Returns with double-double in loss

Nurkic ended with 21 points (9-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Monday's 137-117 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Nurkic logged 31 minutes and showed no ill effects from the toe injury that forced a two-game absence. The Jazz lost two games without his frontcourt presence, and his solid total wasn't enough to overcome the Trail Blazers' scoring onslaught, as the team dropped its fourth consecutive contest.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Records 17 boards in victory

Clingan notched 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 17 rebounds, two assists and three blocks across 33 minutes during Monday's 137-117 victory over the Jazz.

Although Jusuf Nurkic outscored Clingan in the paint, Clingan won the rebound battle and logged his third-best total in the category while increasing his double-double streak to four games. Clingan is proving to be well worth his first-round selection in the 2024 Draft, and his steady play makes him one of the most consistent big men in the Western Conference with a 33-game average of 11.2 points and 10.8 rebounds.

  • Ivica Zubac C | IND

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Logs double-double in starting role

Zubac logged 10 points (1-3 FG, 8-8 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one block over 33 minutes during Monday's 103-102 win over Golden State.

Zubac returned over the weekend and played with the second unit. Monday, he returned to the starting lineup for the first time since Dec. 20 in the narrow victory. Thanks to superior play from Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, the Clippers went 5-0 while Zubac was sidelined, but his return will help keep the frontcourt secure and increase the team's chances for further success. Zubac is building on a great 2024-25 campaign by averaging 15.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 30 games this season.

  • Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Struggles off bench

Porzingis registered nine points (2-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound and one assist in 20 minutes during Monday's 118-100 loss to Toronto.

Porzingis was held out of Saturday's loss against Toronto while continuing to work through postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, but he was given the green light to play in Monday's rematch. He scored seven of his nine points in the first half, though he shot just 2-for-9 over that span. It's hard to trust Porzingis from a fantasy point, given his inconsistent playing time and production when on the court.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Rockets' Clint Capela: Just nine minutes Monday

Capela registered two points (1-2 FG) and one rebound over nine minutes during Monday's 100-97 victory over Phoenix.

Coming off his best game of the season, Capela failed to produce anything of note, logging just nine minutes. Despite the absence of Alperen Sengun (ankle), it was Steven Adams and Jabari Smith who saw the majority of the center minutes. While this was obviously a disappointing performance, managers will want to keep a close eye on things for at least the next two weeks. Sengun is likely to miss at least that amount of time and if Adams' health continues to be an issue, Capela could still have some limited streaming appeal.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Grabs 11 boards in start

Adams (ankle) notched eight points (4-7 FG, 0-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 100-97 win over the Suns.

Adams returned to action after missing the previous two games due to an ankle injury, sliding straight into the starting lineup. With Alperen Sengun (ankle) expected to miss up to two weeks with an injury of his own, Adams looks like he could be primed to see elevated minutes for the next handful of games. With that said, Adams should be viewed as nothing more than an elite streaming option for rebounds, assuming he can stay healthy.

  • Celtics' Neemias Queta: Double-doubles in win

Queta provided 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 25 minutes during Monday's 115-101 victory over the Bulls.

Queta recorded his first double-double since Dec 7, turning in a serviceable two-way performance yet again. Despite his playing time fluctuating, the big man has been a picture of consistency this season, averaging 10.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 24.6 minutes per game, good enough for top-100 value in nine-category leagues.

  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Double-doubles in loss

Okongwu finished with 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and four steals over 36 minutes during Monday's 118-100 loss to the Raptors.

It was a nice bounce-back performance from Okongwu after he finished with just four points during Saturday's loss to Toronto. He led the Hawks in points and recorded a career high in steals while posting his ninth double-double of the season. Okongwu primarily came off the bench to open the season, but he has been a mainstay in the Hawks' starting lineup since late November as Kristaps Porzingis works in a limited fashion off the bench while managing postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Over his last nine outings, Okongwu has averaged 18.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.1 threes and 1.3 steals over 33.9 minutes per game.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Double-doubles in loss

Vucevic recorded 15 points (6-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 15 rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 36 minutes in Monday's 115-101 loss to the Celtics.

Vucevic knocked down three triples for a second straight game and tied Ayo Dosunmu for the second-highest scoring mark on the team behind Matas Buzelis (26). Vucevic was also active on the glass, grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds en route to his 14th double-double on the campaign. Additionally, the veteran big man led the Bulls in assists and has dished out at least five dimes in four consecutive contests.

  • Brook Lopez C | LAC

Clippers' Brook Lopez: Not starting Monday

Lopez won't start against the Warriors on Monday, NBA writer Justin Russo reports.

With Ivica Zubac back in the starting five, Lopez will slide to the second unit. Over 21 appearances off the bench this season, the veteran center has averaged 6.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per contest.
