  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Questionable for Monday

Holmgren is questionable to play Monday versus Memphis due to back spasms.

Holmgren's back is acting up, and Monday's matchup will be the first of a back-to-back set, so it wouldn't be shocking to see him hit the sidelines. If he can't give it a go, there will be more opportunity for guys like Cason Wallace and Kenrich Williams, as Isaiah Hartenstein (lower leg) and Ousmane Dieng (calf) have already been ruled out.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Won't return due to back tightness

Poeltl (back) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Nets, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports.

Poeltl was cleared to return Sunday after a two-game absence due to a back injury, but he appears to have aggravated the issue during the first half. Sandro Mamukelashvili should start the second half and see a significant increase in playing time during Poeltl's absence. Poeltl will finish the contest with two points (1-1 FG), two rebounds and a turnover in seven minutes.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Bucks' Jericho Sims: Moving to bench

Sims will come off the bench Sunday against the Timberwolves.

The Bucks will give Bobby Portis a look alongside Myles Turner on Sunday. In a spot start Thursday against Toronto, Sims had six points, seven rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes.

  • Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke: Ruled out for Monday

Clarke (calf) will not play Monday against the Thunder.

Clarke left Saturday's game against the Wizards after four minutes and was unable to return. The Grizzlies went ahead and ruled him out for the first leg of this back-to-back set, and it remains to be seen if he'll be ready in time for Tuesday's action against the Jazz.

  • Ivica Zubac C | IND

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Out for at least three weeks

Zubac sustained a Grade 2 left ankle sprain during the Clippers' 103-88 win over the Lakers on Saturday and is expected to be sidelined for at least three weeks, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.

Zubac sustained the injury in the first quarter of Saturday's game, and further tests diagnosed the veteran center with a Grade 2 ankle sprain. The injury will keep him sidelined through mid-January and opens the door for Brook Lopez to enter the Clippers' starting lineup. Kobe Brown -- who has played just four minutes over the Clippers' last two games -- could also see a significant boost in playing time off the bench for as long as Zubac is sidelined.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Starting against Nets

Poeltl (back) is in the starting lineup against the Nets on Sunday, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.

With Poeltl returning from a two-game absence, Sandro Mamukelashvili will return to the second unit for Toronto. Poeltl is managing some nagging back soreness, and the team could be cautious with his workload.

  • Hornets' Ryan Kalkbrenner: Iffy for Monday

Kalkbrenner is questionable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers with a left elbow sprain.

This is a new injury for the rookie center. Monday's game is the first leg of a back-to-back set, so the Hornets may proceed with caution. If Kalkbrenner misses time, the team will likely turn to Moussa Diabate.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Expected to play

Poeltl (back) is expected to play Sunday against the Nets, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports.

Poeltl, who is listed as questionable on the injury report, is on track to return from a two-game absence. If that's the case, Sandro Mamukelashvili will see reduced minutes for the Raptors.

  • Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Not playing Sunday

Bagley (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs.

Bagley will miss his first game since Nov. 28 due to a left calf injury, and his next opportunity to play is Tuesday on the road against the Hornets. With both Bagley and Alex Sarr (groin) sidelined for Sunday's game, Tristan Vukcevic figures to be the top candidate to start at center.

  • Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Nursing left calf injury

Bagley (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Spurs.

Bagley is nursing a sore left calf that puts him in jeopardy of missing Sunday night's game. Alex Sarr (groin) has already been ruled out, so if Bagley is also unable to play, then Tristan Vukcevic would be the top candidate to start at center against San Antonio.
